ARTFaces | ARTPlaces sprang from the efforts of six artists who combined talent and energy to create a gallery of online artists. The idea was to link to artwork, the artist's bio a self-portrait of the artist and to the artist's website. The AFAP Gallery at www.ARTFaces.com went live in July of 1998. We soon began receiving requests from artists who did not yet have a website, the need was obvious, thus ARTPlaces.com was born.

Today ARTPlaces.com has grown to a gallery of artist's websites, some of which are collections of artist's websites in themselves. Every popular fine art medium is represented from watercolor to oils, pastels to acrylics, sculpture, pottery, pen and ink and much more.

We offer a variety of hosting and website packages, Our Studio Sites are for the artist who wishes to create and maintain their own site. For the artist who want us to do the work of creating and maintaining their site we offer the Gallery Site. With our Custom Website Design we work with the artist to create a setting that will complement and enhance the style of their artwork. Other support services including domain name registration and email boxes are also available.
